This Tony Award-winning musical follows graphic novelist Alison Bechdel as she reflects on her childhood in her family's funeral home, exploring her journey of self-discovery as a lesbian and uncovering her father's hidden life. The show moves between Alison at different ages, weaving together humor, music, and deeply personal stories about identity, family secrets, and finding the courage to live authentically.
