Terms of use

Last updated September 28, 2026

These Terms govern jax.events and its calendar, accounts, submissions, feeds and widgets, operated by Elektronic Group Inc. (“we”, “us”). By creating an account, submitting content, or otherwise using the service after notice of these Terms, you agree to them to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy policy explains how we handle information; accepting these Terms does not grant optional cookie or marketing consent.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 to create an account or submit information through our forms. If you are under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review these Terms and permit your use. The service is not directed to children under 13. A parent or guardian should find and arrange activities on their behalf. Optional analytics and advertising require a separate confirmation that you are 18 or older.

Provide an email address you control and accurate account information. Protect your credentials and notify us if you believe your account is compromised. You are responsible for your own conduct and for activity you authorize. Do not impersonate others, share an account to bypass restrictions, or create a replacement account after suspension without permission. A person submitting for an organization represents that they are authorized to act for it.

2. The calendar and event attendance

We publish information obtained from public sources and community submissions. Some descriptions use automated extraction or AI-assisted summaries and may contain errors. We may edit, combine, categorize, decline, hide or remove listings. Publication is not an endorsement, background check, certification of safety, or promise that an event will occur.

Before traveling, buying tickets or attending, confirm dates, times, prices and fees, location, accessibility, cancellations, age restrictions and entry requirements with the organizer. A missing age label does not mean all ages are admitted. An “all ages” label is listing information, not permission to buy alcohol, enter restricted areas or bypass an organizer's rules. Parents and guardians are responsible for deciding whether an activity is appropriate and arranging supervision.

We do not organize or supervise the listed events, provide transportation or security, or guarantee availability or admission. Attendance and transactions with organizers are your own decisions. Report inaccurate or unsafe listings using the report link or contact us.

3. Tickets, advertising and other websites

jax.events does not sell tickets, process ticket payments or act as the ticket seller or organizer's agent. Ticket and information links lead to independent sites. Those parties set their terms, privacy practices, prices, fees, refunds and cancellation policies. Direct purchase disputes, chargebacks and refund requests to the relevant seller. We cannot issue refunds for their transactions.

Some outbound links may earn us a referral commission, disclosed near the relevant link. Advertising supports the service and is identified as advertising. Ads and links do not imply our endorsement or a partnership with every named organization. Third-party marks belong to their owners.

jax.events is independent and is not affiliated with Jax Events (jaxevents.com), Jacksonville Facilities, Legends Global or the City of Jacksonville.

4. Submissions and permission to publish

You retain ownership of material you submit. You represent that your submission is accurate to the best of your knowledge, meets our content guidelines, and that you have the necessary copyright, publicity, privacy and other permissions for its content and the people depicted. Do not submit confidential material, private personal information or images of children without the necessary permissions. Do not falsely claim to represent a venue or organizer.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, format, resize, edit, summarize, display and distribute your submissions as reasonably needed to operate and promote the calendar and the submitted event, including through event pages, feeds and widgets. We may authorize service providers to perform those tasks on our behalf. This license does not transfer ownership or give us an unrestricted right to sell your work for unrelated purposes.

Deleting your account does not remove events or flyers that are already published. To request removal of a submitted listing, email [email protected] or use our contact form, and include the event page link. Account deletion alone does not revoke the publishing permission granted above for those listings. Available account controls let you submit corrections or mark an event as canceled; cancellation does not erase the listing.

We review removal requests subject to applicable law. We may retain limited copies for backups, legal obligations, dispute handling and security. Removing a listing does not recall copies already downloaded or distributed to independent services. After removal, the license continues only as needed for those retained or previously distributed copies.

We can review or reject submissions without promising to monitor every item or detect every violation. We may contact you about moderation, require supporting information, or suspend submission privileges. You may ask us to reconsider a moderation decision by contacting us.

5. Permitted use and our materials

You may use the site for lawful event discovery and use our published feeds and widgets for their intended purposes, subject to third-party rights and any accompanying conditions. Our original software, design, logos and original editorial material remain ours or our licensors'. These Terms do not give you ownership of them or rights in another party's flyers or photographs.

  • Do not infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, harass people, publish unlawful or deceptive material, or use the service to send spam.
  • Do not distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, evade access controls or rate limits, manipulate statistics, or interfere with the service.
  • Do not harvest personal information, repackage the service deceptively, imply our endorsement, or bulk-copy content in a way that overloads the site or violates others' rights. Use the published feeds for supported calendar subscriptions.

These restrictions do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict. Contact us before security testing that could affect users or availability.

6. Copyright notices and counter-notices

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice identifying the copyrighted work and the exact location of the challenged material, your contact details, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act, and your physical or electronic signature. Notices should satisfy 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).

Send notices to Copyright Manager, Elektronic Group Inc., 6238 Starlight Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32244; [email protected]; (904) 900-0317. U.S. Copyright Office directory entry.

If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice meeting 17 U.S.C. § 512(g), including your signature, identification of the removed material and former location, a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief in the mistake, and your name, address, telephone number, consent to the required federal-court jurisdiction and acceptance of service of process from the claimant. We may forward the notice or counter-notice and its contact information to the other party. Restoration, when appropriate, follows the statutory process.

Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice may carry legal consequences. We respond to qualifying notices and terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. For other rights or safety concerns, use our contact page.

7. Availability and termination

We may change or discontinue features and may limit or suspend access to protect the service, comply with law, address misconduct or investigate credible security or rights concerns. We will provide notice where required by law. You can stop using the service at any time and delete your account through account settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including retained-content permissions, liability limits and dispute provisions, continue to apply.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, complete or current listings, the safety or legality of a third-party event, or a particular outcome from using the site. Nothing here excludes a warranty or consumer protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Limits on liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elektronic Group Inc. and its officers, employees and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits, revenue, opportunities or data arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

These limits apply only where lawful and do not exclude liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or any liability or remedy that applicable law prohibits us from limiting. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

10. Responsibility for third-party claims

If you submit content or use the service on behalf of a business or organization, that organization agrees, to the extent permitted by law, to indemnify us against reasonable losses, damages and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from a third-party claim caused by its unlawful submissions, infringement of others' rights, or material breach of these Terms. This does not cover claims caused by our own misconduct. We will give reasonably prompt notice and allow reasonable cooperation in the defense; no settlement may impose an admission or obligation on us without our consent.

11. Governing law and disputes

The laws of the State of Florida, without its conflict-of-law rules, govern these Terms, except where your applicable mandatory law provides otherwise. Subject to those mandatory rights and court jurisdiction, disputes will be brought in state or federal courts serving Duval County, Florida. You may contact us to seek an informal resolution; doing so is not a condition of exercising a legal right or meeting a filing deadline.

12. Changes and general provisions

We may revise these Terms prospectively by posting a new version and date. We will give additional notice of material changes where required and seek renewed agreement where necessary. Changes do not retroactively alter an accrued claim. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective to the extent permitted by law. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive it. These Terms and the content guidelines form the agreement about use of the service unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.
