Theatre Jacksonville presents Theatre People, or The Angel Next Door, a romantic comedy by Paul Slade Smith about a young novelist whose book is being adapted for Broadway by a married couple of famous playwrights. When the novel's inspiration—a Broadway star—and the creative team converge for a weekend in Newport, Rhode Island, secrets spill through thin mansion walls and theatre becomes the unlikely salvation for the play, the book, and the protagonist's heart. Tickets are $34.
