Slap Dragon, the bass-and-vocals duo of Scott Mulvahill and Laura Berens, brings their blend of bluegrass, disco, and R&B to Blue Jay Listening Room. The Nashville-based band, which played Bonnaroo and raised funds for their debut album "Mission Statement" via Kickstarter, combines soul vocals with acoustic instruments played by session musicians for a funky, joyful sound that has already drawn hundreds of thousands of views online.
