Theatre Jacksonville presents Come From Away, the Tony Award-winning musical about the true story of Gander, Newfoundland, when thousands of stranded airplane passengers arrived on September 11, 2001. Told through music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, the show captures how the small town's residents welcomed the travelers with hospitality and kindness despite cultural and language differences. This uplifting musical explores themes of human connection and global community during an unprecedented moment in history.
