Theatre Jacksonville presents Come From Away, the award-winning musical about the real events of September 11, 2001, when the small community of Gander, Newfoundland welcomed thousands of stranded travelers from 38 diverted planes. With book, music, and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein, the show celebrates how the townspeople overcame cultural and language barriers with music, hospitality, and compassion. This Drama Desk and Olivier Award-winning musical runs through November 22 at Theatre Jacksonville.
