Theatre Jacksonville stages Come From Away, the Tony Award-nominated musical by Irene Sankoff and David Hein about the true story of Gander, Newfoundland, a small town that welcomed thousands of stranded travelers when 38 planes were diverted there on September 11, 2001. The show celebrates how the community overcame cultural and language differences to connect with people from around the world through music and hospitality.
