This Tony Award-winning musical reimagining of The Wizard of Oz brings a contemporary spin to the classic tale with direction by Schele Williams, choreography by JaQuel Knight (known for Beyoncé's work), and original material from Emmy-nominated writer Amber Ruffin. The score blends soul, gospel, rock, and 70s funk, while the staging features stunning sets and high-energy dance. The production runs about two hours and 20 minutes including intermission and uses haze, smoke, and flashing lights.
