The Smithereens, the New Jersey power pop and alternative rock band known for their 1980s college rock hits like "A Girl Like You," perform at Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. The group blends British Invasion-influenced melodies with heavy guitars and emotionally resonant songwriting, drawing on decades of touring and a devoted following. Since Pat DiNizio's death in 2017, the remaining members continue performing with guest vocalists, keeping alive the band's legacy of catchy, melancholic rock.
