FSCJ Artist Series presents Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance, a classic comedy musical featuring one of theatre's most famous patter songs. On the Cornish coast, a band of tenderhearted pirates celebrates their apprentice Frederic's coming of age, but when a leap year technicality threatens to extend his apprenticeship for life, he must choose between love and his oath to eliminate piracy. The colorful cast includes a brash Pirate King, a prim Major-General, and a bevy of beauties caught in absurd nautical romance.
