The First Coast Nutcracker brings Tchaikovsky's holiday ballet to life with live orchestra music and over 130 local dancers performing the classic story of snowflakes, magic slippers, and festive transformations. Conductor Nathaniel Efthimiou leads this Jacksonville Symphony tradition, now in its 50th year, featuring choreography by Rhonda Stampalia. This full-length ballet production is the only one of its kind staged locally, making it a seasonal mainstay for families seeking holiday enchantment and live classical music and dance.
