Leigh Merrill and Christy Wittmer present sculpture and photo collage exploring materiality, fragmentation, and perception. Wittmer's sculptures and Merrill's photo collages range from body-sized to small-scale pieces installed across the gallery's floors and walls, inviting viewers to consider the space between the known and invented, the enduring and ephemeral. Their overlapping methods of sculpture, collage, visual reconstruction, and accumulation work together to destabilize fixed categories of image, object, and meaning.
