This stage adaptation of Mark Twain's classic follows mischievous Tom Sawyer through a coming-of-age adventure in Mississippi River town Hannibal, from fence-whitewashing schemes and pirate gang escapades to a climactic courtroom scene where Tom must choose between fear and doing the right thing. The play weaves in characters and moments from Huckleberry Finn, capturing Twain's satire in a story about learning to be a stand-up person that appeals to both young audiences and adults.
