In this hands-on drawing class led by local artist Ivy Ton, students learn to create inked portrait drawings using permanent pen and marker instead of pencil. Inspired by tattooing techniques, you'll develop confidence in contour lines and intentional mark-making as you build portraits through deliberate, non-erasable lines. Part of MOCA's monthly Studio Practice series for all skill levels, the class emphasizes observation and decision-making without the option to revise.
