Artist Scott Merrell leads a nature journaling session at Betz-Tiger Point Preserve where you'll sketch, observe, and write down discoveries during and after a 1.5 mile walk. The morning outing (9 AM to noon) encourages you to notice details, ask questions, and explore the natural world without needing any artistic experience. Bring curiosity and comfortable shoes, or drive to the journaling spot if the walk is challenging. Cost is $10 for Timucuan Parks Foundation members and $20 for non-members.
