A young Black couple buys a crumbling mansion at a suspiciously low price, only to discover they're haunted by Beatrice, a mysterious white woman from another era whose sinister influence forces them to confront the home's—and the country's—racial and historical ghosts. This horror-tinged social satire at Players by the Sea explores privilege, assimilation, and the cost of belonging.
