SUMMARY:The Art of the Figure Workshop at MOCA
LOCATION:MOCA Jacksonville\, 333 N Laura St\, Jacksonville\, FL\, 32202
DESCRIPTION:Local artist Rachel Brown leads this monthly life drawing work
shop\, where participants of all experience levels study a live model to l
earn proportion\, anatomy\, and dynamic figure work. The three-hour sessio
n includes gesture drawing demonstrations and practice at different levels
of finish. Bring your own drawing materials—newsprint and charcoal are
recommended for gesture work\, though any medium works for longer poses.\n
