SUMMARY:The Art of the Figure Workshop at MOCA
LOCATION:MOCA Jacksonville\, 333 N Laura St\, Jacksonville\, FL\, 32202
DESCRIPTION:Local artist Rachel Brown leads a three-hour figure drawing wo
rkshop with a live model\, teaching proportion\, anatomy\, and gesture dra
wing techniques for artists of all skill levels. Held the 1st and 3rd Satu
rday of each month from noon to 3 p.m.\, the class emphasizes dynamic figu
res and varying levels of finish. Bring your own drawing materials—newsp
rint and charcoal work well for gesture work\, but any medium is fine.\n\n
